Unbelievable! During a stump speech in Pennsylvania today, while attempting to discredit McCain and Palin as agents of change, Senator Obama said, “you know, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig”. Is he losing his cool under the pressure? Was the remark a reference to Alaska’s Governor Sarah Palin, or just a coincidental statement by Senator Obama?
The comment doesn’t seem that coincidental since earlier in the day Democratic Congressman Russ Carnahan ripped Governor Palin’s resume during an introduction for Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden. Carnahan ended his introduction by stating “There’s no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick”.
Perhaps the remarks from the Obama camp indicate an inability to deal with the soaring popularity of Alaska’s Governor Sarah Palin. Or maybe they’re just stumbling like a jackass with a hoof in it’s mouth.
